CHAPEL HILL, NC – Ten communities from across the U.S. have been selected to receive funding from the UNC Highway Safety Research Center (HSRC) to improve pedestrian safety and help make their environments more “walkable” with the use of the guide, A Resident’s Guide for Creating Safe and Walkable Communities.
