Bureau Of Organized Bikelane Safety Ride →
On Friday, March 19th, a group of cyclist performers, the “Bureau of Organized Bikelane Safety”, B*O*O*B*S team, will ride through the bike lanes of Midtown Manhattan enforcing the traffic laws disregarded by motorists parked in the bike lane. Dressed in protective gear and masks to carefully remove the motor vehicles polluting the lanes, the B*O*O*B*S team will draw attention to NYPD’s over policing of cyclists instead of focusing their enforcement efforts on the real danger on the streets—reckless drivers whose actions killed 320 New Yorkers in 2008.
